Yoa in the Spring

Ironically, I think yellow could be Yoa's colour.

I promised myself not to do a picture of Jade for Project Green, I really wanted to do someone else, and I love the orphans and Yoa in paticular and so eventually landed on this idea. I didn't want to stick to the obvious primary Blue colour scheme and so made yellow the primary colour here along with other vivid colours to portray warmth, I also made her dress cardigan thingy yellow to bring out Yoa's warmer side and cause it's totes cute. Although personally I think she's finding it difficult to adjust to such playfulness (that's not a wink, the wind is in her eye :') )

Hand-drew this first and then coloured in photoshop using textures and the like, perhaps it didn't come out quite how I first imagined in my head but I think it came out quite nicely nonetheless.
